Instant Pot Oatmeal

  • 2 3/4 c oat or almond milk
  • 4 tb butter
  • 3 c berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 banana (sliced; fresh or frozen)
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • [optional] 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 c steel cut (or 1.3 c rolled) oats
  • 3/4 c peanut butter
  • 1/2 c honey
  • [optional] 1/4 c raisins
  • 1/8 c chia seeds
  • 1/8 c flax seeds or hemp seeds
  • pumpkin seeds
  • walnuts
  1. Add about 1 c of the milk, then all the butter, and frozen berries/fruits; turn on saute while retrieving/preparing other items.
  2. Add seasonings, vanilla extract, remaining milk, and oats.
  3. High pressure cook for 4 minutes.
  4. Natural release.
  5. Mix in remaining ingredients besides walnuts and pumpkin seeds.
  6. Top with walnuts and pumpkin seeds.
